Ultrafast Phenomena 2024 Abstract Submission
The regular online paper submission system is now closed. Authors’ notifications were sent to the email address as given during the electronic submission on March 21, 2024 (email from UP2024 <no-reply@oxfordabstracts.com).
Postdeadline papers on last new results covering original, unpublished work on the conference topics are now accepted as oral presensations only. If you have research that has been completed after the deadline or have recently obtained compelling results that you would like to share, you may consider submitting it through this avenue.
The deadline to submit postdeadline papers is June 30, 2024, 23:59 CET Paris time. No further extension will be possible.
Post-deadline submissions will undergo a separate review process, and acceptance will be subject to availability. The postdeadline selection will be done and announced on site on July 15, 2024.
Prior submitting your contribution, carefully read all the instructions below, then proceed online.
Papers should be submitted to only one topic.
During the online submission, authors must check a box to give permission to publish their submission on electronic media and in hardcopy if it is accepted for presentation. The submission must be approved by all authors. The submitter must obtain appropriate approval to have the paper reviewed by and presented to an international audience. At least one author needs to register in full to attend and present the paper at the Conference. Registration is open to all members of the scientific and technical community.
Presentation Type: Only Oral accepted.
The program committee will evaluate all submissions in strict peer review.
35-word Abstract: Your abstract should be a brief summary of your paper topic. If your paper is accepted, your 35-word abstract will be included in the Conference Program. Note that the same abstract should be included in the 2-page summary as highlighted in the style guide.
2-page Summary: Provide a summary of your work for peer review of your contribution. If accepted, this will also be published in the Technical Digest. Style guides are provided in a variety of different formats to support authors’ needs. All PDF submissions MUST contain the following items in order to be published:
-
- 1. Complete title.
- 2. Complete listing of all authors and their affiliations.
- 3. Self-contained abstract, limited to 35 words.
- 4. Text, images, and literature of your contribution.
- 5. Permission and attribution for any trademarked or copyright images. Note that images of people or images owned or trademarked by other entities (including, for example, well-known logos or cartoon characters) will require official written permission.
Proof your work before submitting. We do not accept changes or revisions after the submission deadline.
Category Selection: Please review the topic categories and select the area that is appropriate for your work.
Authors’ approval: The submission form incorporates a box to tick to confirm that all authors approved the submission.
Adherence to the instructions for preparation of the abstract and summary is imperative. Failure to complete any of the preceding requirements may result in the rejection of a paper.
A complete submission must be submitted via the online submission system in adherence with the style guide and by the published deadline. Do NOT email, fax or mail your paper!
Registration and submission for technical sessions is open to all members of the scientific and technical community. It is incumbent on the authors to obtain appropriate approval to present their work to this international forum.

Please make sure that your paper does not contain non-English font packages (for example, Japanese, Korean or Chinese fonts, etc.) in the body of your paper summary, as well as in all figures and tables. Characters in these fonts cannot be seen by reviewers. In the past, we have had particular trouble with MS-PGothic, MS-Gothic and MS-Mincho.
